Good Fortune

I'm thrilled that my directed fieldwork has begun--I have been waiting for this summer like a child anticipating their birthday! My background in health care emergency preparedness and response has led me to pursue my Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS). It also led me to the Medical Library Association and the National Library  of Medicine's Disaster Information Management Research Center (DIMRC).

​This directed fieldwork with DIMRC is a culmination of my coursework and the mentoring I have received. It is so exciting to apply and improve my knowledge and skills in a project that combines my past experiences and my future aspirations.
